Good Site For Budding Fashion Designers

Hi Everyone,

If anyone on here is looking to get some of their designs online and win the chance of getting them made into a collection (plus a cash prize) then you should check out http://www.betafashion.com.

All you need to do is upload your designs onto the site (for free) and the rest of the community will vote on their favorite and the winning designs get made into a collection.

Just though I would let you all know!

do you get paid if selected? Do you give up your copyrights if you submit? Could be a ripoff if you're just handing it over.

You get 500 pounds and one item from the collection you've designed. Sux.

I've read the terms and conditions and they say the designer retains the copyrights until selected as a winner. Once selected they give them over to betafashion and get the prize. Seems fair enough. Maybe not a great idea if you're a well acclaimed designer but for up and comers it's fair enough. Wouldn't mind £500!

Yeah its good for amateurs, I am going to upload just my old ones I have kicking around. Could be a nice little earner.

They will probably used the most voted to make into their collection and copy like another 20 pieces that are entered. hahaha.... Free design ideas for them.

no all designs are displayed on the site I think. Then they'll pick the winners and showcase them. Like threadless.com but more fashion related. They're not just hording designs...I think!
