Matte sunblock for everyday use

Hello All,

I thought it would be a good idea to start using sunblock everyday (at the risk of being vain ), but the ones I have bought for holiday use are far too shiny.

The best one I have used is Dermalogica matte sunblock, but it left a white residue on my face, plus was very expensive at £30 for a very small bottle!

Can anyone recommend a 5 star UVA, and SPF 30+ matte sunblock that isn't expensive?

Many Thanks

TDK

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch. Its only drawback is that the silicone (which makes it so matte) can make it flakey on some people.

Thanks for the replies.

The Neutrogena looks especially good and is only £7 at drugstore.com

+1 on the neutrogena, and there are there are a lot of reviews online by people who review sunscreen that its also quite effective despite its low price

L'oreal Solar Expertise (Matte Formula) has a nice matte finish and extremely high UVA/UVB protection, much moreso than any of the others suggested so far. It's about £7 at Boots.

I got this in the end and Ultra sun all day 20

My one reservation with the Loreal is it doesnt have the UVA star rating or %

The Ultrasun is 91% protection against UVA so very very good for aging.

I'll aternate the two

L'oreal has a PPD of 20 which would place it at a 5-star UVA rating which blocks 93% of UVA rays.
