do you fidget?

I'm a fidgeter. I fidget all the time whether I like it or not. Fidgeting includes anything you believe is fidgeting. For me, I'm a leg shaker and I tend to look around a lot. It's not a nervous habit. I am not a coke/heroin/meth addict.

No. I get annoyed when others are doing it in a distracting manner, especially in meetings.

I am. I'm better than I used to be. I used to be a leg shaker too. I am a prodigious nail biter, however. That definitely gets worse under stress, but I do it even when not stressed. I mess with my watch, take it on and off, chew everything (straws, pens, I have a twist tie in my mouth right now), flip my pens, scribble in the margins, the list goes on.

I do. Usually tapping my feet or trouble sitting still. I shift a lot - cross/uncross my legs, etc. I've always chalked it up to ADD, but I don't know for sure that's why I do it. I also know it can be distracting, so I do my best to control it in meetings and such. I've found that scribbling/doodling helps some.

I was in a meeting recently where a lady was rubbing her legs together during the entire meeting. Her hosiery made a very annoying sound, but despite everyone glaring at her she continued to do it.

i don't want to sound insensitive, but 'man up'.

i was a leg shaker as well when i was 14 or 15 years old but eventually you have to outgrow it.

Was she attractive? Sounds kind of hot.

I'm a fidgeter so I started taking drum lessons. Now I'm a very "advanced" fidgeter and can fidget better than most.

Recognize.

Yeah, get ants in my pants. After dinner, I don't like to sit around for too long and chit-chat. I like to get up and walk around. My fidgeting drives my wife crazy.

There has long been a family rumor that I had a retarded twin my parents gave away.

She was overweight and beyond middle age, no redeeming factors at all.

I bite my nails and hate that I do it. That's about it.
