It's always nice to meet a fellow cigar smoker! I smoke a reasonably wide variety of cigars depending on the situation and the time I have to enjoy a full cigar. All in all, I am an admirer of full bodied, strong cigars, which is why I totally relate to your fondness of the No. 2, even though the Upmann #2 is my favorite Pirámide
. They are very close in quality as well as ligada. My favorite all-the-time cigar is the R&J Cazadores. It's got its own size/galera, a bit shorter than the Dalia (e.g. Partagas 898 varn.) or Cervantes (e.g. Monte #1). The Cazadores is a very strong cigar and something of a well kept secret amongst its followers. The 898 and the famous Monte #1 are excellent cigars as well btw! My favorite Julieta will always be the Upmann Sir Winston, which in fact might as well be my favorite overall cigar, but being 2-3 h smoke it's often not a practical choice. I think the Bolivar Coronas Gigantes would be my close #2 for Julietas. I never quite understood the hype of the Cohiba Espléndidos.
Of the Prominente, a cigar size for a serious evening with fellow cigar lovers, I still prefer a well matured Lusitania. Well, and for reasonably short smokes I always enjoy Rafael Gonzales Coronas Extra (Corona Gorda) or even the Panetela (Panetela) for a really quick smoke. I could go on forever, but this is a forum about clothing after all.
