They were ordering $500 bottles of wine and Gibson's is probably running $100 PPA on food, so $10k is way too high. If I had to guess, it was a 100% tip or higher.

Johnny Depp is defenitly one cool cat. See if I had as much as him I would tip well too. I like to think I tip well know even though its not I dont spend that much. Although if I feel if the person serving me is doing a good job or is deserving i will try and give half of what ever I bought as a tip.I much rather give money to someone who deserves it then waist that money on something else.

Yeah, surprised no one caught on to the associations: Dillinger was known as the American Robin Hood; Depp tips with Robin Hood like compassion; tip co-incides with release of his movie Dillinger.

Wow you actually think Depp did this for publicity? Obviously you just dont beleive in good people. I could see it coming from other stars but depp is just so different from the others.
