Confessions of a secret love: black shoes - Page 2

I got up this morning and put on a pair of Blue Polo Chinos and said what is it going be today Brown or Black for the shoes? I can't help but make an observation that some colors don't match brown very well. It is not like I couldn't do it but my decision was for Black. And so I would say that having a few pair of Black Shoes in your inventory are a handy item to have around.

I am convinced that Black Shoes have a place in our closets and a couple of carefully chosen styles will save the day at times.

Not sure if this one is black but it is close.

That shoe is not hard to love. I would swap out the purple laces, however.

Right. Suzuki works for, or is otherwise associated with Spigola. The name of the picture, coupled with the shape of the shoe, made me think that it was made by Suzuki.

To me, no one does a pair of black shoes like Lobb and Green. In my mind, a guy should have 2 pairs of black shoes, as they are the most versatile and conservative with most suits-- but you can rotate the two pairs, to avoid wearing a pair two days in a row.

Those are beautiful shoes. No one could ever out foxx you in those.

The first real shoes I ever bought, and still my favourite. I've worn them to weddings, to court, to dinner and dancing, but then also with jeans or cotton pants or....*swoon*

Black shoes with jeans, while on that topic, looks sleek and sexy. Brown against denim tends to remind me of workwear, especially rural (yes, brown chelseas truly are for farmer). Of course, the right brown shoes...
