Free? It wasn't last year.

I went two or three years ago. Had a blast but never went again. If it's free I may be in. Too bad all my concert buddies are dead, captured or wounded. I'll look up who the lineup is

Well I'll certainly be there. Due to economic reasons it's a much more muted affair, being held at Merriweather Post Pavillion rather then Pimlico race track and only being one day. I've been going since year one (including working it) and have always really enjoyed it. Lineup includes Blink 182, Weezer, The Hold Steady, Girl Talk, St. Vincent, Franz Ferdinand, The National and Holy Fuck. It is completely free, which, for me, makes it worth going just for The Hold Steady.

I went once, the name leading me to believe it would be something completely different. Was very disappointed.

Virgin Fest? So I assume Dragonforce will be opening and closing for themselves?

Oops. Read the thread title and assumed Conne and Neo_Version_7 were hosting a sleepover.

Wow. I would be torn between wanting to see The National and Girl Talk (Gillis, whatever you think of him is reportedly nuts in "concert", if you can call it that) and not being able to fucking stand listening to Blink 182 for more than five seconds.

My friend asked me if I wanted to go but only gave the headliners (Blink and Weezer). This changes things, I might go now if I'm around.

Picked up four tix for my kid this morning. Not a great lineup, but a great price. I won tix the first year.
