A few friends of mine are there for a few months. Can anyone share the name of some websites or weekly magazines etc which may help clue them onto local happenings? They do not speak Swede.

Much thanks

The official site is visitlinkoping which seems to be the only one offering english. Linköping is a university town, so this might be a somewhat dull time to visit as the semester is finished. However Stockholm isn't more than a couple of hours away by train/car so they should definitely make the trip, it's well worth it.

Ive driven formula renoult cars on the local racetrack sviestad and that was pretty fun. Its also the city where the rnd for the saab fighter jets was done. So i guess it some kinda museum where you could look at tunnan, draken, viggen and gripen if you like that kinda stuff becouse they have some planes put on pillars next to the motorway.
