Since this thread has been resurrected, I'll provide a bit of closure by noting that I bought the shoes, then flipped them on eBay for $90. Not a bad profit for such questionable shoes.

going back to your original question, i think a shoe like this one can be better at complementing the colors of your charcoal or navy suit.

Diorshoe--all depends on what you're looking for. The shoes in your avatar would be a good parry to a colorful shirt/tie combo.

those are Polo captoe shoes called Tellman.
they used to be a flat tan color originally.
