What's wrong with me - my freak diet...

Ok, this sounds really weird, but I swear I'm not making it up...

I had a decent sized lunch on Saturday afternoon, and some snacks during the day, but since Saturday night I haven't had an appetite nor have I felt hungry - at all!
I had a bagel yesterday because my wife said I had to eat something, but other than that I haven't had more than a bite to eat in close to 72 hours...
And the weirdest part is that I'm not hungry at all - I feel like I'm full, almost to the point of being bloated (like when I over-eat)...
WTF is wrong with me - I've lost 3 pounds already, and my pants are starting to fit again, but this is really starting to freak me out...

maybe you have a parasite....could be gas.........or you could just need ot take a dump.

Any stress lately? Feelings of impending doom? That sort of thing?

nothing is wrong with you. see another few days to a week and write back and ill let you know

Take a pregnancy test. You can buy them in any drug/grocery store.

Had a friend once who tried a watermelon diet. swore it helped him and he wasn't even hungry.
Then he invented the Tea diet, nothing but tea. swore by it too.
He died within a month of starting the tea diet.

yes it's a true story. he was anorexic. everyone tried to get him to eat but he just stopped eating properly. as to how much weight he lost, it was a long time ago, if I remember right it was like he lost 45lbs on watermelon alone, then when he did his tea insanity he quickly spiraled to death. I miss him to this day. He was a great guy only went funny in the head in the last 6 months of his life. I also have a brother who's self destructing too..eating only seeds & nuts & lettuce. He's lost 60 lbs of weight and is not in good health at all.

I didnt mention my thoughts on the previous post but I will now...my message is this..eat!
Eat whatever you want only less of it. obviously salads are the best for your body but if you eat meat and junk food I mean have only small portions of it but definitely eat. Starvation is not the answer to better health. Eat and excersize. Take a 30 minute walk after dinner. The walking helps move the food along your G.I. tract and helps digestion, and the excersize helps burn off the calories. try to avoid sugar in the gut. don't drink beer because its too much sugar, or if you do, have only 1 or 2 on a hot day but not every day. make it an occasional treat instead of a daily ritual.
and if you eat meat then cut off the fat before cooking. that fat was for that animal and not meant to be for you. thats about all I can say.

You might have delayed gastric emptying, more formally known as gastroparesis. If it doesn't go away, see a doctor.

wow. that is too sad. i cant believe though you have alot of people around you suffering from anorexia though. do you work in the modeling industry?
i agree you have to eat. eat real food and good food. just be moderate.

Or you could have an issue with your hypothalamus, but I doubt it. I'd go to your physician soon!
