Actors CAN afford to take the risk. When you have millions of dollars hanging on the fact that you NEED to look jacked for your role, you bet these actors are gonna do some off the counter shit. Take a look at Butler in 300 or Craig in the new bond films. Their JOB is to be/look big. You bet that they are gonna do something about it. AND they don't have YEARS to train like we do... Just months.
