Leather jacket care

Hello
I just bought a leather jacket today. I have one already that I use when I ride my motorcycle, and the only thing I do to that one is putting a bit of leather grease on it once in a while.
The new jacket however is made from pig hide (it says "soft split glazed" on the tag) and the leather is really thin. How do I take care of it?
Would it be a good idea to put on some leather grease before I even wear it?
Thanks,
Christian

Leather care varies widely depending on the hide, finish and the use intended. Best would be (if the store where you bought it has no suggestions) to take it in to a leather specialist and find out what they suggest. It's really hard to say from a text description over the net what would be the best solution.
