Im fat
Finished school for the year
Need to work out more
Do more cardio
Just got back from the bahamas
Looking for tips on losing weight.
I had came here when I was in 10th grade (4 years ago) on advice, and it helped so much. And then I forgot my account name. Ended up losing 30+ pounds. And you guessed it it krept up on me with college and is back with a vengence.
Im swimming 72 laps a day M-F (1 mile), usually takes me between 30-35 minutes to do this. And minimal break if any included in that 30-35 minute. Reason for swimming is I cant do anything else as I sprained my ankle. If anyone else knows of another good excercise thats not stressful on the ankle feel free to imput it
Prolly going to end up swimming at least 4 times a week, or some sort of cardio.
Also have a fresh 25lb bag of protein sitting in my room...
Basically what I need help with is the working out part though.
I have a sexy gym now since I am home, and will be using the YMCA.
Looking to work out 4 days a week after the swimming.
Have access to alot of machines, free weights, etc.
What would be the best body parts to work out each day etc.

Open to any comments

Depends what you want, if you want to be like really huge (like body-builder big) then concentrate alot on barbell and all that other weight stuff. If you want to be like skinny but a little toned do loads of cardio and a little all over work. Look at different sports and see the kind of body shape those athletes have, then look at what you want, then google a training regime for that sport and folllow it. Also of course balanced diet, lots of water, five a day etc.

You can continue to do your cardio and pray for a fast metabolism to make you skinny. Or you can man up and start an atual weight training program like Starting Strength.

Unless the Almighty created you full-blown extomorph, cardio--even swimming--is insufficient "to make you reasonable to look at."

Im not looking to get like HUGE just looking to lose weight, build muscle/tone nothing like crazy.

Do all sorts of ab workouts. Regular, sides, legs up, etc and then feel the burn and stretch it out oh ya.
