I truly hope I'm wrong, but I really don't think this is going to end well.
And you, on the other hand, are distributor of 3 posts worth of sage advice?

You are kind of hurting his reputation with that comment. While it may sound as if he is answering the questions like he is the shoemaker, perhaps he is forwarding the questions onto the maker, and simply relaying the answer that the shoemaker gave back on to us. We should let the pictures and feedback be the judge.

I agree with VersaceMan that we should let the pictures and feedback be the judge. Let's give seok the benefit of doubt. If everything turns out well, I could see myself ordering a pair.

I think you should wait more than 2 days before jumping and declaring something "fishy" sans evidence. there are a bunch of reasons why the pictures might not be up after 36 some hours - including no camera and laziness. (i frequently wait 4 or 5 days before posting the pictures up on my ebay auctions, for example).

the next order is scheduled to come out within a week. i'll borrow a digicam and take the photos myself before shipping them out, seeing the fierce demand for photos.

should there be any confusion, i'm not the shoemaker. i provide volume and servicing--communicating with each customer to get his preferences relayed is not a menial task.

Seok, pay no mind to the naysayers and accusers but please, do get us some pics as some are chomping at the bit to put an order in

Whose order is next in the queue? If it's mine, then please let me know so I can avoid this thread. I don't want any "impact" of receipt to be lost, if you know what I mean. It's like peeking at the presents before the 25th.

I'm so very confused.

Sorry for starting the whole nay-saying business. I was suggesting that things were appearing fishy as much as anything else, with a general dearth of feedback from Seok and the increasing tone of impatience to the other posts. I don't have an order placed so I should have just stayed out of it. I'm sorry, Seok.

If I'm not mistaken, the first batch of custom shoes from this maker has taken but a few weeks. That is really really quick for custom shoes.

bkrex - Let me assure you that I trust Seok as he has maintained communication throughout the whole process. One shouldn't jump to conclusions and give the man the benefit of the doubt especially if the evidence is merely suspicion.

Everyone should note that I am in New Zealand and that I have maintained communication with Seok and he has gone a long way to do the best that he can.

Seok - just keep doing what you are doing and yes - would love to see the pics. Cannot wait!!!!!1
