Barber in London Recommendation

I will be working in London for the next three months or so, and am in need of a good, reliable barber. Would like to keep it under or around 30GBP if possible. I work near London Bridge station, but anywhere easily accessible by tube is fine with me. Bonus points if they're open on Saturday, as I often work long hours during the week and have trouble getting away during the day.

Any recommendations? Thanks everyone.

Geo F Trumper would be the ultimate men's barber shop, plus they've got some terrific colognes and shaving creams. Treat yourself to a hot towel shave . Haircuts are 28-32 GBP, depending on if you want a shampoo. 2 shops, W1 and SW1 areas. Open Saturdays until 1PM http://www.trumpers.com/services.cfm

I went to the Geo F Trumper location on Jermyn Street awhile back and was honestly less than impressed. At one point I asked the barber to go shorter on my hair and he flat out said no, reasoning that my hair would stick up in the back if he did. I didn't argue it, but it left me unsatisfied overall.

Hi -- I have tried Trumpers, Truefit & Hill, etc., etc., and found them all to be garbage. The absolute best barber in London is a guy named Carlo. Carlo Anichini Hair 14 Piccadilly Arcade (close to Green Park tube) London SW1Y 6NH +44 (0) 20 7409 2749 I have fairly floppy thick hair, and he cuts it exclusively using straight blade razors -- its an amazing technique and he is a maestro! He charges £40, but he is absolutely worth it, especially if you have longer hair. I go to the barber 1/2 as much since I started with him as the way he cuts causes hair to grow out so much better than most.

I managed to answer my own question: F Flittner (near Moorgate station) did an excellent job, at only 16 quid.

Does Taylor of Old Bond St. have a barber or just sell product?

They have a barber as well. I just picked up some sandalwood shaving cream last week, great stuff
