Yeah I have the bright blue pair that you guys saw on my last WAYWT and the bright red pair in my LB. They fit great and only 20 bucks. They have them again this year I think. Also, I've found that the best shorts are hemmed slim chinos/dress pants.

I think so too, unless you're looking for something special/specific or really nice details or a runway piece etc...but for simple, slim shorts, best bet is to take a good pair of pants and get em hemmed. EDIT: NiCo and KZO are marsupialed.

got my acne shorts and they are ridiculously slim. they fall right above the knee. you might want to size up 2 for a more reasonable fit, i only sized up one and think i wouldve sized up two if i did it all over again. so W28 = medium, W30 = large, W32 = XL. eluxury has them marked down to $52 +$5 shipping from $200. they have silk waistband lining and really nice buttons, solid construction throughout.

My experiences with shorts this season....

1. W+H chino shorts
Not very slim, but they are not anywhere close to the baggy crap that you'd find at a store such as Macy's. The biggest issue with these shorts is the stiffness of the fabric which causes the them to flare outward rather than rest gracefully against your legs. Because of this I have to wear a slightly looser fitting t-shirt or the silhouette looks wrong. It only looks this way from the front when looking head-on. From the sides the shorts look fairly slim. It is not an unworkable short for a slim guy, but it is more challenging to pair with shirts in a way that looks good.

2. W+H wool shorts
These are actually reasonably slim (or they at least provide the illusion of it). The fabric is very soft and drapes nicely against the legs without flaring outward excessively. I can wear tightly fitted t-shirts with these shorts and it looks fine. These shorts fit tighter in the thighs than the W+H chinos shorts. They are also far more comfortable. I totally recommend these.

3. Modern Amusement shorts
I paid only $45 for these. I believe they are a model from last season. They are super slim and tapered with no flare out. Quality is not as nice as the W+H shorts, but these are about as slim as you're going to find in a non-stretch fabric at a reasonable price.

You can get them here:

4. Mr. Olive shorts
I proxied these from Japan and should be receiving them next week. According to the measurements, they are tapered and slim. Cost around $200 though. PM me if you want to hear what I think of them after receiving them.

Unless they're both at almost giveaway prices i'm not really considering any of their ****. It's not even good for "budget sz" style because it's expensive still and not many places carry it so less chances for good sales and 2nd hand.

The fact that you absolutely love to diss people who prefer having **** altered to their own taste to off the rack goods while having zero tailoring experience yourself is just as fascinating.

I was poking fun at people saying that was the answer to everything. Is it any more fascinating when people completely dismiss expensive brands despite never trying them on or even giving them a shot? I think most people let the kzo/nico stuff slide a bit and a couple people decided to comment on it when it was brought up. Get off my nuts

Not sure how I feel about this much tapering on such a long short. They look more like capris to me. If you are going to taper that much, bring it up 5".
