Unusual, yes, problem, no. In reality, it's no different from someone who has 20 wrist watches, only two of which are regularly worn. Personally, I get no pleasure from having things in my closet I don't wear. It feels wasteful to me. However, if having a collection for collection's sake makes you happy, then it is perfectly legit, and I say go for it. The same as some say that having a Patek in yellow gold, white gold and platinum is a complete waste (I don't have these. . . yet), I am completely in awe when I see such a collection. Honestly, it's the "I'm not feeling these so much" that I'd say consider getting rid of, but again, just me.
