Mostly city. Admittedly it has been happening less as I have been doing the majority of my riding to and from work. As an example, a few months ago, I was in a left turn lane and someone in a straight only lane immediately to my right (I was in line with the driver's window) suddenly decided she wanted to turn so she just came over.
A car trying to occupy the space you are in is more than a nuisance.
But why is this happening to you? I can say without a doubt that in the thousands of miles I have ridden this year that not one car has moved into my lane in such a way that it was of any concern to me. Where are you doing your riding? In a city or on congested freeways?
