So I'm planning a couple of road trips this year as well as a European motorcycle tour and all this Aerostich coverage on Rideapart has me considering a Roadcrafter.

Anyone here have one? @John Doe?

Sorry, no. I don't have any experience with that. All you really need anyhow are cut offs and flip flops. peepwall[1].gif

I leave the flip flops at home unless the bike has to be kick started.

I dont think I am mature enough to own a roadcrafter suit but if I were, I would do a 1 piece number

The folks on ADVRider will wear pretty much nothing but Aerostich - I don't think you could go wrong.

I know what you mean. They don't look bad on slimmer builds though.

A 1978 ducati 900 NCR went for $175,500 at auction in Vegas yesterday.

Wow, bikes have really come a long way. I can't imagine the human this bike would fit lol.

I would love an 888

I've got both of these in the garage and I can attest to the fact that they are, in fact, torture devices.  Nothing, however, sounds better or feels more visceral.

Fuck, I bet those look and sound beautiful though. Shame Ducati is finished with air cooled motors....

So if you were going to buy a sportbike, would you do an 899 Panigale ($15K), a Triumph 675R (13.5) or just go with an Aprilia RSV4R ($15K).

Given the Aprilia pricing, I just don't understand how the Panigale fits in...

I'd prob do the Panigale. Only disadvantage it has is HP, which doesn't matter as it has more than enough for the street. It's the sexiest and I think the lightest of the 3. Easy choice for me though with my back I don't think I will ever do a sportbike

I just wonder if the RSV4 is the way to go there. Almost as pretty, rarer and small, light enough.

Now that my job search is on I just need to get back to California so I can justify a stable.
