I still prefer the Ducati Streetfighter but this will be better choice than the gas guzzling Tuono

BMW designers need to learn restraint; way too much going on with that thing. Terrible looking. That rear section looks like it was inspired by a Transformer or something.

The Super Duke is the only new bike I've seen that does anything for me.

I have never really seen a BMW bike I like, except for the wold WW2 era stuff.

The Super Duke does look nice. I might go try a test drive in the spring.

The Ducati Monster 1200 is here

1200cc liquid cooled 18,000 mile valve check of goodness.  No more dry clutch but it does have a slipper.  It seems a lil porky at 461 lbs w/fuel tank filled to 90%.    (edit: just checked and the BMW S1000R is 456 lbs, the KTM Superduke is 458 lbs while the Ducati Streetfighter S is only 434 lbs.)  Why the fuck is it so heavy?

That looks nice. I see a lot of Diavel in it.

I'm about 90% sure that this thread can't go more than one page without pics of a Ducati.

2014 Kawasaki Z1000.  I'm not sure how I feel about it.  Everything looks nice but I'm not a fan of that dash.  And what are those snaps for?  Are they on there tight or are they loose like on Trini's helmet?

LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Biltwell's been pretty good about it. Supposed to be sending me a new helmet.

I like the Z1000. Japanese nakeds generally don't have too much character. For better or worse the new Z1000 oozes it. The LED headlights are kind of cool as well. I'm still not crazy about it as I don't really like inline 4s but it looks damn good. Honda and Suzuki need to get in the mix. The CB1000R is OK but boring and Suzuki doesn't have anything in the segment.

The snaps are probably for a factory option windscreen.

Look like hex bolts with an angled head.

I have a couple of bolts like that and think they are kind of cool, but no idea what they are called (and a quick google search can't find any that look like that)...I got them from the random bolt box at a bicycle shop when I needed some M5 fender bolts.

I was riding home from work last night on my scooter and this chunky dude pulled up behind me on a lime-green Ninja. It had to be a 125 because a) it was silent and b) he was slow as fuck.

At one point he ended up in front of me and it was embarrassing trying to ride staggered behind him because we were holding up traffic
