Oops. I probably put those statements in the wrong order. My hands froze this weekend so I bought the Alpinestars as they got good reviews from Revzilla.

MV Parts are made third party? That doesn't sound right... Anyhow, what I mean is: if the company can hardly keep itself afloat and the dealer network is ever shrinking due to the company's inability to keep up with the demand for parts, why risk owning one? The owner of my Triumph shop used to sell MV too. It was bad for business. Anytime a customer needed a part the bike would sit in his shop for a month or two at a time.

I'd have bought a Brutale by now for sure if I were sure I wouldn't crash it. Maybe when I'm in my 40s. If all my limbs still work.

I mean they prob get a lot of parts from suppliers. But it all amounts to the same thing. If they can't convince the suppliers to stock up on parts, there won't be any when you need them. It's definitely risky. Seems like they are getting their act together. I'd give it a few years

Ahem. Just to reiterate.

This might be a one-off quality issue but I noticed this on my new Gringo helmet this morning:

Sent an email off to Revzilla customer service to see what next steps are.

Bad week for Trini and accessories.  First his winter gloves are are cold and now the snaps on his helmet are jingling

I still prefer the Ducati Streetfighter but this will be better choice than the gas guzzling Tuono

BMW designers need to learn restraint; way too much going on with that thing. Terrible looking. That rear section looks like it was inspired by a Transformer or something.

The Super Duke is the only new bike I've seen that does anything for me.

The Super Duke does look nice. I might go try a test drive in the spring.

The Ducati Monster 1200 is here

1200cc liquid cooled 18,000 mile valve check of goodness.  No more dry clutch but it does have a slipper.  It seems a lil porky at 461 lbs w/fuel tank filled to 90%.    (edit: just checked and the BMW S1000R is 456 lbs, the KTM Superduke is 458 lbs while the Ducati Streetfighter S is only 434 lbs.)  Why the fuck is it so heavy?

That looks nice. I see a lot of Diavel in it.

I'm about 90% sure that this thread can't go more than one page without pics of a Ducati.

2014 Kawasaki Z1000.  I'm not sure how I feel about it.  Everything looks nice but I'm not a fan of that dash.  And what are those snaps for?  Are they on there tight or are they loose like on Trini's helmet?
