Do any of you guys have a good method of getting dead bugs off your leather jacket? I've tried using a rag with warm water to get them off and then using a leather conditioner bar once it dries, but some of these bugs are really stuck on.

I haven't ridden it yet (I've got a broken left thumb) but I picked this up in October.

Haha yeah I didn't either but I had a wreck on the Ducati being irresponsible (looped a 2nd gear wheelie) and wanted something that wasn't like riding a race horse. Of course, this thing is a built 1200 evo (10.5:1 Wiseco pistons in it). It's a flyrite frame, 4" longer forks, and Avons front and rear. That's about all I know, that and I rode it yesterday and it is absurdly fast when you get on it, and sounds like a shotgun when it backfires while cold. It should be fun for the 10 block radius I plan to ride it in in Brooklyn.

I still have the Duc and I'll be fixing it this week (just picked them both up yesterday from a friend's in Philly) but this will have its own purpose.

Changed the oil, filled the tank and added stabilizer, drained the bowls, and put it away for the winter yesterday. Stuck it in front of my friends' car in their parking space in their heated condo garage...thank god for compact cars

There is still a list of things I need to fix...might fix a few when I go to retrieve the battery but otherwise it is just going to be ordering parts and waiting for spring.

Damn this (not-quite) wintry weather. I need a project. Something to get me tinkering. Maybe new grips or something? I've already removed the airbox and rejetted the carb on my Speedmaster, and done the exhaust and suspension. Now what? Any suggestions?

How about a level that attaches to your camera.

Did my first winter project tonight. Replaced the HD springer seat with this LaPera instead. Next up is to get the tins repainted, probably olive tank, black fenders..

Great job with the seat. I think an olive paint job would look pretty studly as well.
