This is the funny thing about motorcycles. I used to be into looking cool until I found out how uncomfortable "cool" is. Maybe I'm just getting old...

Gents,

Would any of you who live in the US be able to proxy a pair of gloves for me? Availability seems to be low to nonexistent in Canada and the online retailers who carry them in the US are unable to ship to Canada due to distribution restrictions.

What can I say. The man has good taste.

Leather is still more practical than waxed cotton. But if you ride in any kind of nasty weather, the tables will turn. Probably good to have both.

Helmet, Jacket, gloves.

I have the Lightning. No armor. I've had it for years. Never really took care of it. And it's still going strong. Lewis makes top-shelf stuff. The collab looks nice, but it's got the wrong Triumph logo on it.

I got rid of my 81 Kawasaki, 2002 Suzuki SV650, and 2000 ducati 748 and picked up a Harley Iron 883 which I am loving. I'm trying to find a jacket. Which of the two is best?
