Congratulations on the bike Trini, enjoy!

I'm not a fan of softails, but that is as nice as they get, I suppose. I like the front end (much more than their springers, in fact).

How is riding with the solid front wheel? Do you get blown about on windy days?

Edit: Bars are a very good choice, too.

Thanks man. They do grow on you, as I never would have taken myself for a softtail guy until I got one.

Yeah, I definitely do notice a pretty big difference on windy days between this bike and my others, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

I've seen Fat Boys with apes, but not for me..

That looks like some kind of torture device.

Looks like something a gyropractor might recommend.

Yeah, that guy definitely looks cool, but I am afraid I'd just come across as trying too hard. I am just not that cool.

I'm so confused by the mechanics of it all.

I rode this Street Bob for about a year and those Harley mini-apes are as high as I would ever be comfortable going. It definitely makes for a bike that is more difficult to handle in certain situations.

I'm personally not a fan of the belt on the Trialmaster, but I can see someone with more steez than me being able to pull it off. I pick up my Ronin on Friday, so let me know if you want me to post some detailed pictures or anything like that.

TRINI, you getting the one with armor in it? I was looking at Belstaff originally but opted for leather as my main for durability and breathability. Still plan on getting one eventually. Long live McQueen!

Yup.

I FINALLY picked up my Ronin jacket and it's glorious. I'm a little iffy on the fit because the shoulders seem just a hair too big, but I know the medium would have been way too small in the arms and waist. All I have is my terrible camera phone, but I'll post a few pictures when I get my hands on a decent camera on Sunday.
