I'm debating whether or not to hit mine with a little Obenauf's LP.  Hmmm...

Thanks! Yep, I definitely went with the tobacco color after seeing some photos and reviews online. I was thinking about applying some kind of protector on it as well. I'm worried about rain ruining it as well as me getting it all covered in sweat down here in Texas. I'm thinking about getting some mother's leather conditioner to apply every now and then too.

Do you think it's a bad idea to apply some kind of water resistant spray on it?

Contact the dealer and Roland directly to see how they chemically treat their leather, if at all. Start with them and go from there. Congrats on your purchase, I went 2 piece suit instead because I think the Roland jacket would look cray with Sidi Vortices but it's a work of art what you got there.

+1 on the K bike.

Power, reliability, great looking lump of engine, older ones can be found for $3K or less. Find one with scratched up plastics because you are going to scrap that anyway.

Yeah do what Poissa says. I would stay away from sprays. The jacket is a full grain tough leather that has some really great character, uneven grain etc... I would think that rain and scratches will only make it look better. Hell, it has for mine. My advice is to beat the living $hit out of it but also take care to keep it from drying out.

My guess would be some light conditioner every so often and some Obenauf's LP once a year. But if you do call RSD and ask, let me know what they recommend.

I condition my jacket with gypsy tears, works wonders.

That's a fine collection. What model is the white Harley, did it come from the factory like that?

Thanks, it's a Fat Boy Lo. Only customization I did was air cleaner/exhaust, pegs, grips, and some minor cosmetic stuff.

Congrats Trini. May you ride it in good health and a constantly vertical position.

Nice! Congrats on the beautiful bike.

Better picture of the big twin. This was how it came from factory except for exhaust, which was a dealer mod.

Congratulations on the bike Trini, enjoy!
