Why am I like this? - Page 7

I like them. To be honest, if I had to wear only one pair it might very well be those.

As to CTGuy's criticisms, I think you can take issue with Foo, but not the clothes.

I must say, the first answer in this thread was so far the best one.

I don't particularly like the shoes but otherwise i dont see anything wrong with having 5 pairs of identical shoes, assuming you can afford them.

Do you plan to buy any more foo???

I stand by this post. Except, here we substitute "pure desire to know" for "pure desire to enjoy fine things."

Well, both, I guess. My parents loved me, provided for me very well, and made sure I went to good schools. We were never filthy rich, but I consider myself fortunate for those reasons.

I approve of your steadfast vision.

Sounds good. I forgot the link to my old analysis of you in the post above. I've edited in the link.

and probably the most correct one too. To be fair though, the extreme level of attention-whoring is part of the quirkiness but it's not the only defining characteristic. There are many attention whores here (when is the next WAYWN posters anonymous meeting?) but only one foo.

My first response to Foo's question is "Why are you questioning yourself? What is at the core of your question? Self doubt, second thoughts? What's up?

p.s. interesting that I again commented negativly on you mafoofan (had not seen the thread poster at first since I'm too drunk); I remember on commenting negatively on you before- maybe you attract trouble- I somewhere read that youre some law guy..normally I like law ppl though I couldnt be one myself ever, but you are somehow strange-maybe you ought to get out of what youre doing right now and just be yourself...maybe youre e.g. a much better poet or tailor than a law guy...anyway if I will see you in such a function that you "ought to fulfil" next on here I'll certainly praise you;..intuitively, thats just how I function, see?...If I say something nasty I dont mean to offend but rather give a meta- and subconscious hint, a suggesito by it, thats my job even when Im "off duty"- so think about it, best, J.

Answer 2 questions and I'll tell you why you are like this.

1) Why did you buy 5 pairs of identical shoes.

2) Do you plan on buying more.

I really dont consider Foofy to be a materialistic person, to me, he seems to really see the human side of it. Afterall he is having a one-off tailor make his clothes, and a classic american company make his shoes.

Materialistic people seem to go for the big name labels, and do their best to be devoid of personality.

This forum seems to have decreased in style, recently- has gotten a bit more uncultured, it seems. Very intererestig.
