Yes, there is. I can't find a good picture of Woody Broun and his louder-than-life sportcoats.

My Botany 500 sportcoat is a medium weight wool herringbone, seems to be of reasonable quality to me.

H. Daroff and Sons sold Botany 500 a long time ago.
The buyers let the company go bankrupt. It seems
a totally different company is now using the name
Botany 500 for some really low grade merchandise.

When Mr Daroff owned the company, it was a very
highly regarded Philadelphia clothing manufacturer.

On a tangent I live in a Daroff building.

Does H. Freeman fuse or is everything (new) canvassed?

Come to think of it -- didn't Botany 500 supply several TV shows at one time, including Hawaii 500? Those fabrics were a bit shiny, no?

I believe Botany 500 is still around. I have seen their trenchcoats.
