Do you have a pair of house shoes? I picked these up a while ago and really enjoy wearing them around the apartment.

Maybe it's 'cause I was an avid watcher of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood as a kid, but when I come home at the end of the day, it's so pleasant to change into my house shoes. I'm crossing the barrier from work day to evening at home.

Have you tried the shocking combination of house shoes with office pants?

I generally prefer bare foot. However, I otherwise use a pair of Tod's driving loafers that are really beat. The sole allows me to pad around relatively quietly.

Coordinates nicely with a work shirt and fun socks, but never a power tie.

I actually like the fact that these ones have heels. I'm pleased to hear them hitting against the wood floor, which I hope transmits directly to my downstairs neighbors.

I generally find myself walking throughout the apartment bare foot as well. If I step out to take out trash or something I usually throw on something easy like boat shoes or flip flops...

Get this before Moo does.

I wear Alberts, Belgians or Tod's drivers at home...it's nice to have shoes that are light on the feet after a long day snarking.

I have two pair of Alberts, the plain Del Toro's I posted above and a pair of Stubbs & Wooten (I think, I can't really remember) with coronets on them. My wife laughs at me when I wear those.

I have a pair of RLPL drivers that I think must be made by Tod's, but I don't wear them around the house much. They're the type with the nubs and I don't like walking on them.

I like the Alberts because they are quilted inside and are more comfortable than walking barefoot.
