If there's one thing more annoying than reading about the fucking books in a thread about the tv show it's people trying to justify talking about the fucking books in a thread about the tv show.

I did call him out for that. Not every incident I talk about is about you, for Christ's sake. When I mention incidents of book spoilers, I am talking about everyone who does them. I am not attributing them to you and you alone. Reading comp: work on it. No, it doesn't. At all. This is a thread about the show, not the books. If someone asks about the books, and you know that the answer to his question may or may not spoil something that hasn't happened in the show's timeline yet, use fucking spoiler space. Or say "You know what? I'll pm you if you really want to know, but it's a potential spoiler." Or whatever other method you choose. There really are a near-limitless number of choices you can make that do not involve spoiling shit for everyone. Great. In the meantime, use spoiler space. It's lower-tech, but it works and has been common courtesy on internet forums for over 15 years. This should be end of discussion. Frankly, it should have been end of discussion ten posts ago. But no doubt you will keep arguing about it. Just stop. And stop. You are wrong. Done. When you're this deep in a hole, you stop digging. Believe me; I've been there myself. We all have. Just stop.

Mercifully, her role in the show seems to be growing smaller in direct proportion to the increasing size of Erik's role. This is a good thing.
