I feel quite proud of myself for logically predicting, a few pages back, both Franklin's non-death by Tara after she bludgeoned him and the manner of Russell's apparent demise.

Not with Erik holding him with silver cuffs.

that's my point regarding why erik didn't just run back inside and lock him out.

Erik can last three times as long in the sun. He can go back inside once Russell dies.

What Russel should do is simply rip off Eriks arm. I mean, honestly... given his strength I doubt it'd be that difficult.

Presumably they were silver handcuffs, and they play fast and loose with the effects of silver, basically having it neutralize their powers entirely once it touches them whenever the plot requires it.

The second one could be seen from miles away to be honest. I honestly thought Franklin was dead the first time, but with the way he went it doesn't really matter.

I'm still not liking the fact Tara is allowed screen time. People in that town seem to drop dead all the time. Why not her?

It's pretty easy to do, I'll write it now:

Tara wakes up. She steps outside. *Supernatural entity of choice* kills her. Sookie "Oh noesz!"
Bill "we will avenge her". Superthing dies, Tara and her death are never mentioned again.


One could even replace the supernatural entity with a truck.

I would vote a death of ignominy. Like, choking on her own vomit.

Good memory. If Russell truly dies in this manner, its the antithesis of climactic. There needs to be an epic battle to kill a vampire of 3000 years. And where is the VLA during all of this mess? Either the finale is 2 hours long, or they're sweeping a lot of the plot under the rug.

If eric made a run for it russell would have known, and since russell probably is at least twice as fast as eric, he never would have made it.

Also Tara never shows tits, so that's yet another strike against her.

At least her fucking MOTHER isn't getting plot time anymore. God that was the worst, Tara + mom getting half the screentime in an episode.
