True Blood - Page 3

I just got caught up on this. Another great show by Alan Ball. Only negatives: All the overwraught acting from Tara and hearing Bill say Sookie. Has anybody read the Sookie Stackhouse books?

Awesome start to the season. Each episode is really packed with great material. I am loving the work that the writers do on Bill's dialogues - very clever. His love declarations to Sookie are so corny and cheesy by our standards but make so much sense given his age. Some of the details are so funny, e.g. the recycling bins, Eric's foils...

Must be some kind of were-collie pheremone

Also Lafayette is the best character in this series hands down and he just keeps getting better.

Bit of a slow episode... likely a build to a huge next episode though.

I find myself caring less and less about the Tara/Maryann sub-plot the longer they drag out the mystery, but more and more with the Jessica/Bill sub-plot.
