Grenson Honey Antelope, new without box and bags. UK 10.5 FX and the double leather soles measure 12.5" by 4.75".

$150 plus actual postage

Does this shoe equate to an American 11 D/E? 12.5" sounds short even for a US 11 to me.

According to an online conversion chart they are a US 11E. I am not sure. Forum brothers, can I get an assist?

I have some Grenson's that are an 11-F. My understanding is that the Grenson F-width is a bit wider than a US D-width--between US D and E. That's how they fit me at least.

I know exotic leathers are love/hate, but I find these very nice. If they were my size, I'd buy them.

So do I. I purchased this pair for one of my sons. They are too wide for him. All the other antelope calf shoes that I have seen are derbies or loafers. This pair is "different". I have a pair of Lattanzi that are similar to this pair.

If you don't mind me asking, what size shoe does your son normally wear?

I have a pair of Ferragamo wingtip balmorals in scotch grain. I like them a lot, but they're single soled and a little more streamlined. I actually prefer your shoe. The double sole seems to balance out the grain better. They'd make a great looking golf shoe, huh?

these are interesting - they might not be too wide, as the width of the shoe is wider because the sole extends beyond the actual interior...
