Resorts in Oahu? Especially Package Deals?

So, my wife and I have two tickets to Hawaii that we need to use before the end of September (she broke her leg last year and we couldn't go).

I was wanting a resort that's NOT cheesy but offers package deals for lodging and activities. The main activities are surfing. I don't and won't surf, but my wife wants to take lessons. We both want to SCUBA dive and don't need lessons on that.

Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated!

I think Halekulani offers packages. You can also try booking them via Virtuoso or FHR to see what they can offer. For activities though your best bet may just be searching the web and looking for deals or calling the hotel concierge ahead of time.

To my utter amazement, the funnest activity I had when my wife and I visited Hawaii was horse-back riding.

Yeah, I've been searching the web over the past 48 hours - there's so much stuff out there . . . too much stuff.

I thought I'd ask you guys, who live at the PINNACLE of good living!!!1! For a little direction.

Are you set on staying on Oahu or perhaps going to other islands?

I would highly recommend the Haleku.
If they don't have what you are looking for, the staff there will find it for you.
Superb service, and the most lovely spot on Waikiki.

I'm going to stay on Oahu - at least that is the plan. If there's any other place you guys feel like recommending, however, please do so. My plans are not carved into stone yet.

Thanks already.

I remember sitting on Oahu with Alfred Hitchcock talking movies and eating caviar from kilo tins.

Are you implying that Oahu is so fifty years ago?

Turtle Bay resort is amazing. Every room has an awesome view. lots of leisure activities (tennis, surf, horseback..not sure about scuba but there are place on the north shore), away from the hustle of waikiki. btw, if you've seen forgetting sarah marshall...yeah, that's the place.

Definitely stay at Halekulani.
You're a short walk away from Leather Soul.
There's a Nobu and a Roy's across the street.
You can still get out if they happen to close Kalakaua for a parade which they seem to do every other week.
Sunday brunch is pretty good.
Wednesday evening they have a manager's reception with drinks and pupus.

They've got a 5th night free deal that's almost always running.
