Yeah, John Cusack was in some fun films in the '80s. "˜Hot Pursuit' and "˜The Sure Thing' are two others that generally go unmentioned. I don't know about "˜classic', but they're fun.

"The Fog" was great but don't forget "Swamp Thing"! Probably her finest performance, both is subtlety and in displaying her acting range. Priceless.

According to me:
Devil in a Blue Dress
Billy Elliott
Best in Show

You might want to try a film made the following year titled "˜Machine Gun Blues' with Nick Cassavetes . It's not as bad as the bad ratings it receives. It's worth a viewing, but nothing more.

Hot Rod!
Andy Samberg and crew at their finest!

^I do not understand how the terms "Andy Samberg" and "finest" could be in the same sentence.

Devil in a Blue Dress is one of the first times the world realized that Don Cheadle is the mutha cussin' man!

Best in Show is the best work by the Christopher Guest crew.

Heavenly Creatures, I learned at the tender age of 18 that I would forever want to do Kate Winslett.

M Night's best work before he got really, really awful. I'm mean have you seen The Happening. It's potentially one of the worst things I've ever watched from start to finish.

I just watched this yesterday. I'm a big Samberg fan and while this movie certainly has its bright spots (see: punch dancing and any scene with Ian McShane), the movie overall is pretty uneven. I'm not sure how much life there is in the movie that makes fun of movie cliches.

Club Dread probably does it the best followed by Wet Hot American Summer. Now those are a couple of underated movies.

Samberg definitely has a narrowly defined style and if you don't get it (and I don't blame you if you don't), you're not gonna get it. That said, I wouldn't put too much stock in the words of a man who has a scene from the remake of Angels in the Outfield (or a professional wrestler for that matter).
