I don't recall saying that you did, I just asked a question. I've heard the opposition to fluoride, and don't think there's much merit. Just curious as to who thinks otherwise.

my philosophy teacher. said something about how they started adding fluoride to stuff and it was unnecessary. who knows.

Fluoride in the womb for me worked out pretty well for my overall dental well being.

I talked with my dentist about fluoride a while ago. It's strengthens teeth to an extent, but you can be over exposed and it will cause yellowing or something to that effect. He mentioned seeing an area where the water contained enough fluoride to do that. Your adult teeth early on need it, after a while it's not quite as important.

And a fun story I heard about, which may or may not be true: The government tried giving soldiers in Vietnam substantial fluoride to help their teeth and reduce the amount of maintenance and stuff, but it was too much and made the soldiers they tested it on teeth become brittle and crumble.
