I just picked up this Jean Shop natural wallet from Context. Do you think I should put any sort of conditioner/oil/etc. on it? Or, just let it age naturally? I lurked around the forum and saw some cool aging on natural belts, but since the wallet is in the pocket most of the time I'm not sure how different it will be. Any suggestions?

It may not need much if any conditioning when you buy it. After some use, a standard reply would be a conditioner such as lexol or AE. Filson's boot oil may be another option, but may soften/darker slightly more prominently...
Just as you you would raw denim, I wouldn't over-think it too much.

oil it if you want, it's definitely not necessary though. my natural messenger bag has developed a really awesome orange hue from wear and sunlight. if you want your wallet to darken, just give it a couple days in direct sunlight. I don't really see a point in oiling it unless it's dried out and needs it. the oil from your hands should keep it pretty well-conditioned for the most part though.

Dude, it's a wallet. Put money in it, put it in your pocket (your choice!). Remove when you need something from it, replace when finished.

The oils in your hand will do enough. Just give it time.

The only concern I would have with a natural leather anything is the potential for staining. That's why I'll boot oil it or apply Sno Seal to it if I really want to keep the staining potential down.

I have 3 handmade wallets. 2 from Corter and 1 from Hollows Leather (both on this forum). I'd personally recommend Hollow's. I prefer the leather he uses.

I just let mine get stained and occasionally apply some leather protector to keep them from cracking when they dry out.
