Yeah Pho 50 is on Rt 50. Banh Mi DC is across the street and right next to Pho 75. However, Golden Cow is also on the other side of Rt 50, and it is in my opinion, the better pho place.

Dark, where are you now?

Land of the vaclav, man. And maybe I meant Pho 75, the place was right next to the banh mi shop. Used to have pho, then go over to the shop and spend whatever remaining cash I had there on banh mi and other Vietnamese goodies.

pho sure is actually not bad.

Um, while the homemade pho looks just absolutely delicious, the soup is kinda muddy looking.

All the pho I've ever had have clear broth? WTF?

'cause it's soul food, son. But seriously, clear broth is not very difficult to make (parboiling, cold water, light simmering, skim, cheesecloth, etc.). I like my broth with a little more "body" and more fat, so I don't skim out everything.

Sounds like a line straight out of Culinary Skills.

You'll never catch me making a raft for my pho, that's pho so. If I were to cook pho like this guy, my grandma would smack me cross the top of my head.

That looks really good. Still a fatty broth. No degreasing? No escume?
also kinda weird he didn't put any tomato in the consomme. But I'm sure it tasted great, so who cares. BTW, pm me your reciple pl0x. The one we learned in International really sucked.

I know Bellaire. There's tons of pho places there. You need to be more specific. My friend says the one in HK City Mall is good but I never go there for pho.

Either I have never had "good" Pho... or more likely, I just don't like Vietnamese food. I really am just not a fan of a lot of the other stuff I've had.

Best pho I ever had was from street vendors in Vietnam, ate it every morning.

Though, it might just be nostalgia.
