Ace from Quadrophenia....Sting's first movie role (only has one line but ends up being one of the major characters)

Mine isn't Pete Townshend, nor is it Paul Weller - though he does cop a lot of PT and PWs moves. It's Mattias Bärjed from Soundtrack of Our Lives.

Ah, I thought that looked familiar. I saw bits and pieces of Quadrophenia at a Vespa rally this summer. I was the lone "Dark Sider" as in the only guy who was into newer small bikes tuned hard (good enough to pass the 150cc-200cc guys on the Highway) with very very minimal lights and mirrors, basically I should be called "The Black Ghost" because if I dont ride with my armored jacket on I am nearly a black and blue blur (ie easy target for dumbfucks)

My current avatar is Philippe Jullian, the French aesthete and biographer of the decadent, e.g. d'Annunzio, Wilde, et al.

He killed himself in 1977.

Thought this was pretty funny when somebody else posted it here a while back, plus I had trouble uploading about a dozen different images that were my first, second, third, etc. choice.

Did you use photobucket? They resize an image to an avatar size for you if you upload to their site. Also, I noticed that even when styleforum says the new avatar doesn't work, it does. Strange.

This new avatar is the symbol for my astrological sign.

Right you are - thanks.

This one's just because I used to think Mojo & Skid were extremely cool, in an idiotic sort of way.
Factoid: I used to have a beer bottle with their autographs (Sierra Nevada, I believe, although it could have been Anchor Steam).
