Continuing my phase of 'stuff I was supposed to have read in college but Cliff-Notesed my way through from a drug induced stupor instead', I finished Robinson Crusoe today and started Gulliver's Travels immediately thereafter.

Geoff, how is "Thinking" so far, you alcoholic socialist you?

I added "Mastermind" by Konnikova to my to-read list and saw in reviews people were saying "Thinking" was a better alternative.

edit: Wait...sorry...it was Hugh who was the socialist wasn't it?

Excuse me recovering alcoholic thank you. As for socialism where did you say you were from?

As for TFAS finding it stimulating however there are some points of divergence where my thinking on the subject and his interpretations differ but this is a good thing. Also intrigued by System 1 and System 2 makes you stop and think. And yes i did a lot of psych in both undergrad and masters programs.

Highly recommended.

Now if only my hands would stop shaking i would be able to trype type a more eloquent response.

I'm in TX, and it was your half-brother, Hugh, who was the Socialist, sorry. I remember now wink.gif

And don't worry, it's just tequila, it's not a REAL drink!

Thanks for the response though. Dropping Mastermind from my list and adding this one.
