im also working my way to medical school and had a similar dilemma. however, after working in a clinical setting, i have decided to go the MD route. i would recommend if possible to work full time in such a setting or an administrative setting. im sure it will help you decide which way to go.
I'd go with MBA/MHA. No need to spend time and money for schooling that doesn't truly interest you. I am also smart enough to get into medical school, but my passion lies in pharmacy, which I will be attending for schooling this fall. Good luck with your decision.

I went the MBA route (didn't even bother with the MHA, just had a Healthcare concentration). Anyways, I was in your position - although my grades were not as good...heh. I just came to the conclusion that being a physician was not the way to go for me - I cannot dedicate that much time and energy to other people at this moment, and that's why I went the business route. Besides, if BO has his way, pay for docs will continue to decrease....hardly worth it if you ask me.
I did my MBA from what is consistently ranked top 3 in the rankings. Work at a Biotech now. If given the choice, I'd rather have been a doctor. An MBA is the easy way. One rule that I have learnt in life that generally works (not always, there are exceptions too!) is that the easier the path you take, the lesser the returns. Conversely, harder the path you take greater the returns.
