Like jeans, they're a bit stiff when raw. But after the first wash they dramatically soften. They probably feel more like a lightweight jean than anything else. If you've ever tried on the lightweight Weird Guy, it's a bit like that. I've been wearing my pair constantly. And sorry, we don't offer a discount beyond this special price.

Yes, they're raw. But no worries for shrinkage - these will stay basically the same size after washing. Mine have.


I'm not really sure. The fabric is fairly soft - even before washing - so I don't expect that you'll get any kind of crazy fading from it. The relatively light color wouldn't lend a lot of contrast. The main selling point for me is getting a well-cut slim-fit chino that stands up to a lot of wear and has the five-pocket look.


I believe so. I just measured the size 30 and it matches up with what BIG states. Overall, the N&F collection is pretty consistent. My size 34's fit exactly like my 34 Black Selvedge and 21oz Selvedge.

I'd say to get the 32. I don't really have anyone size down on the Slim Guy in our store.

Well, I should have prefaced my last post by saying that most dudes who buy the Slim Guy here (including me) are not particularly slim.

Given that shrinkage isn't an issue, then you might want to go down to a 30 if the numbers look right to you.
