Fresh made, hand tossed tortillas are the only way to go.

I once tried to make myself some fritatas while drunk. I guess I forgot how much moisture is in raw veggies, and ended up with something resembling vegetarian eggdrop soup.

I came home and tried to make nacho cheese dip the other night.

Made the roux, found out we didnt have milk, left roux on stove to watch TV and eat plain tortilla chips, burned roux and pot to crust.

A lot of times I end up eating a filthy kebab when drunk. My girlfriend finds chili sauce stains on the remote in the morning.

This sounds like a really awkward coming out statement. I wasn't the guilty party in this one but I was at a house party where someone made box macaroni and cheese and they were so drunk that they poured the cheese powder in with the boiling water. The next morning someone had eaten it all.

Tested thus far:

We did frito pie and were convinced we invented something awesome till we sobered up and realized sonic and at least 2 other places had already done it.

at least half a dozen variations on eggs and various breakfast meats (nothing new till you start doing fried eggs which are awesome)

chili dogs

leftover pot roast

White Chicken Chili

PB&J

Macaroni and Cheese

All fantastic.

Hellz yea. I remember I was plastered one night with a chick and she wanted to make Mac and Cheese. My only requirement, she had to cook it naked. They were alright (mac n cheese), her body on the other hand

Good drunken meals for me involves pretty mch anything I have in a sandwich. Sometimes quite normal - tuna, cheese, salad etc - sometimes totally bizzare - peanut butter and raisins, mayo and crisps. The thing that I find is that they all end up tasting the same.

Made tempura once while blitzed on sake and beer. I've cooked plenty while tipsy (indeed it enhances a dinner party), but messing around with a pot of hot oil is not something I usually like to do even when sober.

It turned out great though.

All the cooking i've done while inebriated was ridiculously sketchy. Working with very hot and very sharp items, not so smart.

That being said, my friend and I made an excellent poutine using, mccain superfries, stove-top stuffing and actual Quebec poutine sauce in a can. This was while high though, but it still fits in the theme.

Nachos are an overwhelming favourite for me too.
