But isn't your new place near the Bowery?

I lived there as a little kid about 50 years ago.

Do the old neighborhood proud

Yes it's just off Bowery! I'm very excited...I'll do my best. Though had I been there a year and a half ago I would have witnessed the protest against the Cooper Square Hotel up the block.

Things are not going to end well there. The patio bar area is literally feet from the neighbors windows - I heard that a couple weekends ago, some neighbors put big speakers at their windows and were playing as loud as possible Roger Miller and Conway Twitty's greatest hits in a loop.

this stuff seems to be a little more "organic" than what you have so far but there are a few pieces that could fit in nicely and compliment what you have HERE

"trailer's for sale or rent"

"rooms to let, $.50"

Strange choice of music by the protesters.

Enjoy the neighborhood, SoCal

Yes it's funny if you walk by and look up the stairs from Bowery into the back 2nd level patio of the hotel you can see a clothes line strung right across it with underwear and what not.

Show me some cool shelves...Randallr needs something to do this weekend.
Contrary to what others have said, I think black floors will look great. As for shelves I like quite minimal ones e.g. Montana Shelf System, which can be anything from a singular shelf to an extensive system.
