Honestly, I do this too. Its good for the summer. I was considering picking up one of these from Context, but their website says Winn Perry in PDX is also going to be a stockist so I just might go down and check them out in person.

Allow me to disagree with that.

Workwear in its utilitarian function has never been a trend. What is one is this obsession we see for it today in the dozens of bloggers who now only swear by it, convinced they are above this very trend they are only reflecting (while, interestingly, they were still collecting sneakers a year or two ago). That lifestyle theory/excuse is just bullshit to me to justify a particular taste. Don't get me wrong, I love most of most of those workwear/americana/heritage brands produce, it's the constant justification I see about it that I find most annoying.

Let's not try to pretend that we're better than that, except for a few members here, we're just as sheepish. I'll be curious to see what you, me and most of us on this forum wear in 2 or 3 years. I have a feeling chambray ties won't be part of our wardrobes anymore though.

Sorry if that sounds excessive, I just had to say it.

Of course there's the full-on conductor overalls wearing contingent, which is probably (hopefully) just a fad, but I see workwear/hunting wear as more of a subtle twist on day-to-day dress in the vein of collegiate, nautical, equestrian, military etc. It's something to integrate into an existing (compatible) wardrobe rather than something to adopt whole cloth.

That said, I will not be buying one of these stupid handkerchiefs. I can already hear my grandfather laughing at me from his grave.

"I sweat a lot" must be some sort of code for you goons to identify yourselves to each other.

I think you misunderstand the quote. The observation is that selvage fabric has come to a point where just about everyone is jumping on to exploit what they can from it however they can.

I need a selvage toilet paper roll cover for the bathroom. The simple doily I use won't do.

I think RRL has those, with some rhinestones and floral embroidery all over it.

I'm sure it wont be long until Kiya starts selling Flathead toilet paper, made from zimbabwean cotton paper pulp, with selvedge seam. Woven extra thick of course so you only need 1 or 2 squares.

****, I'd buy it

Question is, would you wash and reuse?
