Good hair product for what I want?

I'm sure this kind of thing has been asked a million times before, but...oh well!

Basically I'm looking for something, probably a cream, to give my hair a little fullness and a hint control. And I'd prefer it's something I could find in most hair salons or drug stores.

Right now I have three American Crew products: Texture Cream, Forming Cream, and Fiber. The Fiber and Forming Cream both have way too much hold for what I'm looking for, but I'd like something with a bit more hold and less shine/greasiness than the Texture Cream.

Any suggestions?

Redken 06 Rewind works well with a lot less buildup than Texture Cream. Then again, it probably has less hold than Texture Cream. I was a long time user of American Crew pomade, but switched to this product at my stylist's behest. The Redken products are a lot better than American Crew, in my experience. The higher the number, the greater the hold.

To add to that, I use Redken for Men "get groomed" and it gives me exactly what you are looking for. It's pretty light, not greasy, the first styling product I've used that I can stand having in my hair all day.

I like Aveda's "defining whip"; it has great hold (lasts all day in my experience) but doesn't noticeably change the texture of your hair as gel or mousse does:
