The KOP List: FW09 edition - Page 19

Sorry, I should have specified that I'd like it slim fitting, too Although, I'd be ok with it a little loose. It's a bit of a challenge, considering I'm 6'2" 165lbs. Surprisingly, I have a couple of really chunky button up turtleneck sweaters in extra fine merino wool from Banana Republic that fit me very well (slim). They're my favorites at the moment. This is the Tim Hamilton that was on Gilt, right? I'm not about to pay that much for it, though...

I have always wanted a duffle coat but the traditional one is always too big and long for me. I like this one from Margaret Howell. I hope this is the right one.

all i need is some type of coat, maybe a bomber or peacoat i love what krane was coming out with but its not exactly feasible on a student's budget

1. some kind of coat, probably a sterlingwear or another cheaper peacoat
2. some heavy flannels, I was thinking the iron heart flannels at selfedge
3. a hoodie or two, probably just american apparel hoodies from trendyblanks or ebay

thats it - going to literally try to buy 5 things for the rest of the year
then saving the rest for sales in early 2010

update - alden indy - not going to happen - would rather have alden unlined chukka anyway
ended up with some brown boots from AS - suffices
EG or JCrew Flannel - probably gotta go on the cheap and get the jcrew
flathead 3001 - kopped
wool charcoal trousers - might need to wait till 2010 for these

pretty much revised to this:
1. JCrew Flannel
2. TAT Sportscoat
3. Two Pocketsquares

And that is it for the rest of the YEAR

Winter Coat Krane Ayling OR Nau Transporter Blazer OR Shirt Epaulet x SF flannel in red, or the Shipley and Halmos Bogota in Farmer Plaid. Bag Filson Passage Saddlebag in brown. Sweaters I only have two at the moment, and winter this year promises to come earlier and hit harder... - chunky half-zip, in charcoal or dark grey: I haven't found one that I've really liked. There was a nice one that a model was wearing in a Nudie FW08 runway show, but it apparently wasn't Nudie. Any suggestions? - ribbed turtleneck, in wine or maroon: Uniqlo, if they still have my size. - v-neck, in yellow: Spurr from last fall. Yeah right. Probably Uniqlo again.

The Krane jacket is better by a long shot. No contest.

Big thick sweaters:
NdG shawl cardigan (I'd probably prefer the charcoal)
SNS Spark in bone
Something from Coventry (Odin's website doesn't list them)

Rabbit lined black gloves
Winter dress boots (something warm, good for slush and snow looks ok for a walk into work in a suit)
