Guys, don't forget Marc Nason. Very very good boots...well some of them. Expensive though.

OLD E.G CATALOG Added
Nice, never seen those "╦ťCricket shoes' before.
One of them (Paul Stuart) came up on eBay recently and people questioned whether this was an EG shoe.

Thanks, centipede!

Can anyone put a date to this catalogue?

I would guess, late 80s.

The factory address is still in Oliver Street and the shop is listed as Jermyn Street. Both factory and retail shop are now John Lobb (Paris).

There is also a Burlington Arcade shop listed, which remained with EG after the split from JL. But this not the one they had until last year. It is a smaller shop and on the opposite side of the arcade (it might be the current Church's shop).

Thanks, B-S. That sounds right. I know from my contact at EG that their models didn't have names in the early 80s, only numbers.

centipede - Thanks as always for the great pictures. Did G&G have any RTW boot styles or prototypes at this show?

I'm curious if the shoe-tree in the RTW oxford was provided by G&G or if it is the customer's own.

You're right. Those shoe trees are a bit of a come-down.

Please do not worry.
The shoe-tree is customer's own, not the G&G.

I actually didn't think of them as bad. I was just curious if G&G were offering different styles of trees.

Thanks for the clarification centipede.
