Watched Le Chat. Contains scene of cat being shot at point blank range. Very depressing.

Rolled into West Palm Friday night with four other people for some relaxation. That night: Picked up by the driver and dropped off at a local outdoor bar to drink a few until the bars closed and start the weekend off. Got back to the condo and pool + sauna Sat: Beach at MacArthur state park for most of the day where the three guys got roasted. We called ourselves the "lobsta crew". That night rolled out to Spoto's Oyster Bar for dinner + 3 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc. Great time. Back to the condo for some pool swimming + sauna late at night. Sun: Went shopping at Sawgrass Mills at Ft Lauderdale. Was hot and didn't really feel like shopping but we walked around and had lunch at PF Changs. The guys split from the girls and we found a great spot, Cavas wine tasting room. Great concept, basically dump some money on an electronic card, they have 80 wines to try, put the card in the slot and it pours 1oz into the cup. Prices are on the wall. Great experience and getaway from the typical mall crap. Left the mall and went to Shooters bar/restaurant on the waterway for a couple drinks and apps. Few nice boats were there along with some crazy cars. That night dressed up and Blue Martini it was for some dancing and further drinking. Good time. Mon: Private beach on Ocean drive with cabanas. Water was calm but chilly. Had dinner and some pina coladas by the beach at a hotel which was very nice, straw huts and the whole beach vibe. Left the beach around 5pm. Two of us hit up a small beach bar on Juno beach near Jupiter Island, great vibe and $2.50 beers; any kind. Was packed and supposedly was a big restauranteur day where all the distributors come out to play. Back to the condo after hitting the grocery store and my friends made Paella with mussels, clams, shrimp, etc A couple of his friends drove up from Ft Lauderdale. We had dinner and polished off 6 bottles of wines, a Pino Noir, a Cab, 3 Malbecs, and a Pino Grigio. Surprisingly they were all great. Tues: Shopping + lunch at the local mall, back to the condo to pack, and whisked off to the airport to begin the voyage home. Arrived back in the NE at 2am.

If you want to see what I'm working with look up events around "hampton roads, virginia (the norva, etc)" and you'll see how good I have it. This area is almost like a required stop between the 9:30 club in DC and whatever shithole they decide to play in NC (if it's a tour that involves a east coast part) EDIT: Where do you live in VA (I just noticed that)??? I live in virginia beach and unless you live in the western part of the state you're close enough to enjoy the same shows I attend.
I live in hunt country.

did some real rolling - went out to dinner with a few friends from work and my wife, then went to a real club for salsa dancing. first time I've taken my wife dancing in years. we had a lot of fun, even if we were home by 11. yes, I know exactly how lame that is, but I enjoyed it.

That was it! The only thing I could remember was the Cataways Marina sign.

Didn't realize you were from PBG, we stayed in the Gardens at a friend's condo, we were right by the Rt. 1 drawbridge on the waterway overlooking the golf course.

I really liked that place. We ran up a fairly large bill (for me) but it was worth it as they were very accommodating, even creating a custom dinner for our friends. They liked it so much they had the head chef come out so they could thank him in person. The wait staff was very personable too, offering some good suggestions on what clubs and bars to hit during what days.

I've had my eye on this girl since we met on Thursday. Last night, I was drinking/playing Scene It (great game BTW) in my friend's room when she showed up. She lamented that her bottle of vodka was virtually gone and that she wouldn't mind a drink. I was a few G&T's deep so I offered her one. After about three, she was really loving the gin. We were pretty flirty...some good eye-fucking, clandestine caresses, the like. Well, one thing led to another and I ended up in her room. After remarking she liked Kid Rock, she put one of his CD's on and we began to make out. A few minutes in I looked at her and said, "Have you ever wanted to fuck to this CD?" And she goes, "For a long time." (I was sort of hoping she'd rather listen to Coltrane or Steely Dan but oh well) Long story short, twice last night and once this morning. The Connedude has broken his dry spell with a triumphant performance.

The weather has warranted a switch to the seersucker condoms. Actually, she was kind of making fun of my madras socks all night. I was also wearing this madras shirt last night and she thought it looked like the Brawny Man's plaid shirt. I showed her who the real Brawny Man is
