The buffalo leather on the service boot is too thick for a liner, but we've added a custom heel pull, a couple extra eyelets and some of the stitching has changed. Otherwise it's essentially the same boot.
No code at the moment. We run pretty regular promotions though and we will be knocking sales goods down again as soon as the shop is back up.
The wait for a pair of Vibergs has gone up to about 12-16 weeks on the conservative side. I think we'll cut off the made to order service anyways. Nobody seems to be understanding of the fact that they are getting custom footwear made by a company that produces less than 30 pairs in a day. We can't make these things go any faster and as nice it is to be able to offer MTO, it's not really worth the customer service headache that comes along with it. Going forward we will be producing small runs and that is all that will be available.

I'm not sure how much you're familiar with Alden lasts, but how does the service boot compare to the Indy boot (or any Trubalance, Barrie or Modified last boots) in terms of sizing? I talked to Viberg a bit and they recommended 6.5E (UK), and typically I wear a 7.5D or 7E on the Trubalance, Barrie and Modified Alden lasts. I also wear a 6.5E (UK) for Crockett and Jones' 325 last, if that helps at all.
