been wearing my 4HM knit around the house during this past week. this a size 36 in denim blue; if it matters i'm an XS in pretty much everything i own. i've got some spare time so i thought i'd share my thoughts.

the "oversized sweater" concept is new to me, so this sweater is definitely a nice change of pace. just thick and chunky enough to make it seem like a part of the charming design without treading into granny-knit territory. like WhoKnewI said, this thing is really soft (my experience with other heavy knits involves coarse wool and lots of itching). color's great, too, don't think i've seen this shade of blue/grey offered anywhere else.

there are a few things that bug me about it but nothing major. the 3rd button from the bottom just seems to not want to stay closed; i suspect that the knitter made the buttonhole slightly too big. also one of the button's threads attached to the anchor seems to have snapped. i'm sure that this is a quick and easy fix, it's just that i have to be careful not to lose that button.

all in all, a damn fine knit. here's a fit, please keep in mind that i don't really take WAYWT pics too often redface.gif

low of 19° outside, i'm nice and toasty with the sweater over a heattech

I realize I haven't read the past few pages...but back in the summer I asked about the possibility of a restock of Skookum varsity jackets and I think you said that they'd be restocked, but in different color combinations. Whats the current info on this?

Looks good man! I know what you mean about the button holes. You can sort of train them back if that makes sense. The button holes are just where the weave has been separated. Try sort of closing the hole back up while it's buttoned up. That should help, but it's unavoidable to a certain extent.

I've had a few people ask, so here are a couple pics of my moss Sz.40 that i'm wearing today. For reference I wear a medium in just about everything, though sometimes a 50 in Jil, Raf type stuff.

I've been trying to get in contact with Four Horsemen for the past few days to get some more info on an item. They haven't responded to emails or phone calls, where is the best place to reach the shop?

Hey man. Really sorry we've been MIA. The whole crew has been in NY all week for Market Week. Literally got back to Victoria about 10 minutes ago. I'm going through emails right now, but if you need to reach me sooner i'm at the shop all day today.

how does the creep shawl collared pullover sweater fit?
here's a pic of the 2010 cardigan i picked up off someone here. fit is awesome, only issue is that it billows out after a bunch of wears at the waist.

Is this the "bone" wash? Looks like it, but I'm not seeing it on the site.

While it's warm as fuck in D.C., I confess I had to jump on one of the cardigans... They look gorgeous. EDIT: Received, is as gorgeous as it looks.

Thinking about grabbing the discounted W+H overdyed plaid shirt in black (XL). What chest size would you say it would fit best on, 42"?

Thanks.
