We are not stocking the W+H Cowichan peices, but our own 4 Horsemen Hand Knit Cardigans will be dropping in a few weeks. You can see pictures of last season's on our webshop/blog.

I check this thread and your website every day for the 4H cardigan release. Any date yet?

I guess now is as good a time as any. The sweaters have arrived in shop and been photographed. If everything goes on schedule they will be for sale tomorrow afternoon. There are 30 sweaters in total (some are spoken for, so as usual certain sizes will be gone quickly), 15 in the same Denim Blue as last season and 15 in Moss, which is a really amazing deep green. The major difference this season is the collar shape. It's a longer collar that rolls into the placket and has a hidden button underneath to pop the whole thing up. To me, it's a massive improvement and really changes the whole look of the sweaters. Both colours are shetland wool and are extremely heavy. Price will be $325 (CAD) each, which of course includes free shipping if you are within N. America. Our focus is getting them up for sale, but i'll try to follow up at some point tomorrow with some fit pictures so you guys can see how great these things look worn. Unfortunately, we are not able to hold any sweaters due to quantities.

Sizing is the same scale as last year, but we've weighted it on the larger side this time around (less 36s, more 42s and 44s). With the raglan sleeve these things can definitely be worn a little big. For reference, i wear a medium in just about everything and i'm happy in a 40 for a slightly slouchy look. Could go 38 for a slimmer look, but i prefer the 40, especially for the added length. In summary, go true to size for a slim fit, and one size up if you want it a bit looser. The wool stretches easily so sizing is flexible to a degree.

Both colors are the heavyweight versions?

When brand new p2p is true, so 36 measures 18 across, 38 measures 19 across etc. Length starts at about 23-24 inches on the size 36 and goes up to about 26-27 on the 42 and 44. Again, length is the easiest place to stretch if need be.





Yes, both colours are the heavyweight Shetland wool. Pretty sure all of the sizes weigh at least a kilo.
